Before installation
- The floor must be flat and able to carry the full bathtub and its user.
- Plan the drain under the central waste and access to the waste for maintenance.
- Plan the taps: floor-standing for a freestanding bathtub, wall-mounted or floor-standing for Torino Muro.
- Unpack the bathtub on a protected surface and inspect it before installation. Handle it with two people, holding it by the base.
Installation, step by step
- Fit the supplied waste and overflow with their seals.
- Position the bathtub and check the rim with a spirit level. Pack it if needed, following the instructions.
- Connect the waste to the drain with a suitable trap.
- Fill the bathtub and check every connection for leaks before any finishing work.
- Torino Muro: run a sanitary silicone joint between the back of the bathtub and the wall.
- Let the silicone cure for 24 hours before using the bathtub.
Everyday care
- After bathing, rinse and wipe the bathtub with a soft sponge.
- Wash with soapy water or a mild detergent.
- For limescale, use diluted white vinegar, then rinse thoroughly.
- Light scratches in acrylic can be reduced with an acrylic polish.
What to avoid
- Scouring powders, abrasive pads and steel wool.
- Acetone, nail varnish remover, thinners and solvents.
- Concentrated ammonia-based cleaners.
- Hot objects and cigarettes placed on the rim.
- Hair dyes and colourants left on the surface: rinse them off immediately.
Damage caused by solvents, impacts or non-compliant installation is not covered by the warranty.
