Shower doors and enclosures
Sliding shower doors from 100 to 160 cm, an 80 cm side panel and an 80 × 80 cm corner enclosure, in 6 mm tempered glass.
The Corsa collection covers alcove and corner showers with the same hardware: 6 mm clear tempered glass, chrome aluminium frame, stainless steel handles and double rollers at the top and bottom for a smooth, quiet slide. Sliding doors come in 100, 120, 140 and 160 cm widths; combined with the 80 cm fixed side panel they form a corner shower. The Corsa corner enclosure (80 × 80 cm) has two sliding doors that open at the corner.
How to choose a shower door or enclosure
The right shower door depends first on the shape of the shower area: between two walls, in a corner, or in a square corner. The Corsa collection covers these three layouts with the same 6 mm clear tempered glass, chrome aluminium frame, stainless steel handles and double rollers.
Three layouts
- Alcove shower (between two walls). Choose a Corsa sliding door in the width of the opening: 100, 120, 140 or 160 cm. One panel slides, the other is fixed.
- Corner shower, rectangular. Combine a Corsa sliding door with the 80 cm fixed side panel (ref. HGS6SF80CM). The door closes the long side and the panel the short side.
- Corner shower, square. The Corsa 80 × 80 enclosure has two sliding doors that open at the corner, for a wide entrance in a small footprint.
Why a sliding door?
A sliding door does not swing into the room, so it needs no free space in front of the shower. This makes it the practical choice for small bathrooms, or when a toilet, a radiator or a basin stands close to the shower. The double rollers at the top and bottom keep the slide smooth and quiet.
Measure the opening
Measure the width of the opening at the top, in the middle and at the bottom: walls are rarely perfectly straight, and the smallest measurement is the one that counts. The Corsa profiles allow ±20 mm of adjustment on each side to absorb small differences and walls that are out of plumb. Check your measurements against the technical sheet of the chosen model before ordering. All Corsa doors are 200 cm high.
Tray or tiled floor
Shower trays and taps are not included. The door is installed on a shower tray or on a level-access tiled floor; its width must match the dimensions of the tray. For the 80 × 80 cm enclosure, plan an 80 × 80 cm tray or the same footprint on a tiled floor with a drain.
Glass and maintenance
Tempered glass is a safety glass: it is much stronger than ordinary glass and, if it breaks, it shatters into small blunt pieces. To keep it clear, wipe it with a squeegee after each shower and clean regularly with a mild product. Avoid abrasive products on the glass and on the chrome profiles.
Checklist before ordering
- Layout: alcove, rectangular corner or square corner
