Torino or Torino Muro: freestanding or back-to-wall bathtub?

The same oval silhouette, two ways to install it. Space, tap and plumbing: how to choose between Torino and Torino Muro.

Torino, Freestanding oval acrylic bathtub with two backrests

Torino and Torino Muro share the same oval design, the same seamless acrylic and the same two backrests. The difference is how they sit in the room.

Choose Torino if…

  • the bathroom has space around the tub, to reach and clean it on every side
  • you want the tub to be the centrepiece, in the middle of the room or in front of a window
  • the floor can take the pipes of a floor-standing mixer

Choose Torino Muro if…

  • the tub goes along a wall
  • you are renovating and want to keep a classic wall-mounted tap
  • you want the look of a freestanding tub in a smaller room

Points that do not change

For both, check the position of the drain before laying the floor and keep access to the trap. On an upper floor or a timber floor, have the floor's capacity checked. Measure the access path: the tub must pass through doors and stairs.
