When a bathroom is very small, a square corner shower is often the only option that leaves room for a toilet and a basin. The Corsa 80 × 80 enclosure is designed for this situation: a footprint of 80 × 80 cm, 200 cm high.
Corner-opening doors for a wider entrance
Corsa 80 × 80 has two sliding doors that open at the corner. They slide apart along both sides, which gives a diagonal entrance wider than a single door of the same size would. No door swings into the room, so the enclosure can stand close to the toilet or the basin.
Double rollers at the top and bottom keep the doors smooth and quiet, and two stainless steel handles make them easy to grip.
What is in the box
- 2 sliding doors and 2 fixed panels in 6 mm clear tempered glass
- a chrome aluminium frame, resistant to humidity
- 2 stainless steel handles
The shower tray and the taps are not included.
Tray or level-access floor?
- On a shower tray: choose an 80 × 80 cm tray. This is the quickest solution in a renovation.
- On a tiled floor: the enclosure can stand directly on a level-access tiled floor with a drain, for a more modern look. The floor and walls must be waterproofed, and the slope planned towards the drain.
Imperfect walls are not a problem
The profiles allow ±20 mm of adjustment on each side. This compensates for walls that are slightly out of plumb, which is common in older buildings.
Making a small shower comfortable
- Place the shower column on one of the two walls, facing the entrance corner.
- Choose a compact shower head and a shelf built into the wall rather than a hanging basket.
- Clear glass keeps the room bright and visually larger.
Everyday care
Wipe the glass with a squeegee after each shower and clean regularly with a mild product. Avoid abrasive products on the glass and chrome.
For a rectangular shower, combine a Corsa sliding door with the 80 cm side panel. More advice in our shower door buying guide.
