In a small bathroom, every centimetre of visible floor counts. A floor-standing toilet hides the floor around its base and collects dust behind it. A wall-hung toilet such as Vega Square leaves the floor clear underneath: the room looks larger, and cleaning takes a single pass of the mop.
Why a wall-hung toilet suits small spaces
The cistern of a wall-hung toilet sits inside a concealed frame, behind a stud wall or a false wall. Only the bowl and the flush plate stay visible. With the cistern out of sight, the room loses the bulk of a ceramic tank and gains a cleaner line.
Vega Square projects 54 cm from the wall and is 36 cm wide, a standard footprint that fits en-suites, guest toilets and family bathrooms. Its square shape with softened corners follows the straight lines of tiles and furniture, so it does not draw attention to itself in a compact room.
A complete pack, ready to install
Vega Square is sold as a pack:
- the glazed ceramic bowl, rimless
- a quick-release soft-close seat with stainless steel hinges
- the fixing kit
The concealed frame and the flush plate are not included. This lets your installer use the system they already know. Check two points before ordering: 18 cm fixing centres and a horizontal outlet, the standard configuration for which the bowl is designed.
Rimless: what it changes day to day
A traditional bowl has an inner rim that hides an area out of reach of the brush. Vega Square has no rim. The inside of the bowl is open and smooth, so there are fewer places for dirt and limescale to settle. Combined with the quick-release seat, which lifts off for cleaning, the toilet stays hygienic with less effort.
Gloss white or matt black?
Vega Square comes in two finishes:
- Gloss white, timeless and bright, which reflects light in a small room.
- Matt black, a strong design statement that works well with light walls, wood and brushed metal.
The matt glaze is fired onto the ceramic like the gloss one, so it is cleaned the same way: a soft cloth and a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner. A matt black Vega Square pairs naturally with a matt black Evona basin for a coordinated look.
Planning the installation
- Height: the concealed frame sets the height of the bowl. Many installations place the top of the bowl around 40 cm above the finished floor; it can be raised for taller users.
- Space in front: leave comfortable free space in front of the toilet, around 60 cm is a common recommendation.
- Wall: in a stud wall, your installer will use a frame fixed to the floor and to the structure.
