Rimless toilets have become the norm in new bathrooms, and for good reason: they are simply easier to keep clean. Vega Round combines a rimless bowl with a soft, round silhouette that suits bathrooms built around curves.
What "rimless" means
On a traditional toilet, the water arrives under a rim that runs around the inside of the bowl. That rim hides an area where dirt and limescale build up, and where a brush barely reaches. A rimless bowl removes it. The inner surface is open and smooth from top to bottom.
In daily use, this means fewer hidden deposits, quicker cleaning and less need for aggressive products. To get the best result, ask your installer to set the flush volume of the cistern as recommended by the frame manufacturer, so that the water covers the whole bowl.
A seat that comes off in seconds
The Vega Round pack includes a soft-close seat with stainless steel hinges. It closes slowly and quietly, without slamming. It is also quick-release: it lifts off the bowl without tools, so you can clean the hinge area properly and put it back in place.
Why choose a round shape
Vega Round has a smooth oval bowl, 54 × 36 cm, 35.3 cm high. Round shapes soften a bathroom with many straight lines, and they echo other curved pieces:
If your bathroom is built on straight lines, the square Vega Square offers the same equipment with a more architectural shape.
Installation checklist
Vega Round is wall-hung on a concealed frame, which is not included, nor is the flush plate. Before ordering, check:
- a frame with 18 cm fixing centres
- a horizontal outlet, Ø 10.2 cm
- the height of the bowl, set by the frame (around 40 cm to the top of the bowl is common)
The frame is built into a stud wall or a false wall in front of an existing wall. A qualified installer will choose the right model for your wall.
