Guest toilets and small en-suites leave little room for a washbasin, yet this is the first thing visitors notice. Felis is a compact countertop basin in glazed ceramic, 49 × 38.5 cm and 13.5 cm high, designed for exactly these spaces.
A tap that sits on the basin
Felis has one tap hole on its rear deck. It takes a standard single-hole basin mixer, fixed directly on the ceramic. In practice, this has two advantages in a small room:
- no hole in the worktop for the tap, so a narrow shelf or a slim vanity is enough
- no pipes to build into the wall, which makes Felis easy to fit in a renovation
Choose a mixer with a spout long enough to reach the centre of the bowl.
Planning a guest toilet
- Worktop depth: Felis is 38.5 cm deep. Allow a few centimetres of worktop around it.
- Height: with a 13.5 cm basin, a worktop around 70 to 72 cm high puts the rim at a comfortable height for most adults.
- Waste: Felis is supplied without waste, so you can choose its finish to match the mixer. Your plumber will choose the waste and the trap.
A bright finish that is easy to keep clean
Felis comes in gloss white. The glazed ceramic surface is smooth and non-porous: a soft cloth and a mild product are enough. Avoid abrasive powders, which dull the glaze over time.
Matching the rest of the room
In a guest toilet, a coordinated set makes a small room look designed rather than improvised:
- a Luz Round LED mirror Ø 60 cm above the basin, which lights the face evenly
- a Vega Round wall-hung toilet, which keeps the floor clear
